Join our team: we’re hiring a B2B technology copywriter

If you're considering starting a B2B writing career, we’d love to hear from you. We need a Junior B2B Copywriter to join our talented, welcoming team.

An award from Unlocking Potential, to show that we invest in our people. But also because we'll unlock your potential.

Job vacancy: Junior B2B Technology Copywriter (Penryn, Cornwall)

*Note: This deadline has now passed, but we’re always on the lookout for talented B2B copywriters and account managers – have a look at our careers page.

If you have a natural ability to write crisp, clear sentences (and you get strangely curious about really niche subjects) you might be just the person we need.

Junior Copywriter is our entry-level writing role. It’s a great way in to the industry and, if you’re considering becoming a B2B copywriter, we think this is the best position you could ever apply for.

We’ll train you to write marketing content – like blog posts, emails, and video scripts – for some of the world’s brightest tech companies, as part of a supportive and widely respected team.

And you’ll work in great surroundings: our award-winning waterside eco offices in Penryn, Cornwall.

We have a friendly working environment, brilliant clients, and a talented team… what we need is another talented writer, who’s not afraid to get a bit nerdy, to help us create even more standout content for tech brands around the world.

You’ll likely already have a portfolio of compelling writing (not necessarily in our sector), a keen eye for detail, and a positive, “can do” approach to your work. You’ll be a team player, who can receive constructive feedback with a smile.

A bit more about the role, and where you’ll fit into our team

At Radix, we write marketing materials for many of the world’s best technology companies (some you might not have heard of; others you definitely have).

We’re good at what we do, so our writing is in demand. As well as blog posts, email campaigns and video scripts, we write ebooks and web copy – plus lots of case studies, and many more formats besides.

We have a global base of clients who rely on us to ask them smart questions about what they do, so we can explain it in a way their business customers will find compelling. As a result, we get to learn a little bit about a lot of weird and wonderful tech. (You don’t need to know about that yet, but you do need to be curious.)

As a Junior Copywriter, you’ll work alongside other copywriters and account managers to write engaging content that meets our clients’ briefs. At first, it will mostly be short-form writing (emails, social media, short blog posts), and you’ll get all the mentoring and training you need to build your knowledge and expertise, ready for more ambitious work.

What working here is like

Even though you’re a great writer, it’s a steep learning curve. But that’s normal, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Radix is 13 years old and we’re proud to say that our writers tend to stay for many years, developing their writing skills – and their careers – as part of our growing business. We’d love to offer you the same opportunity, with structured development and mentoring to help you become the best B2B tech copywriter you can possibly be.

We employ good people, and try hard to look after them. Your colleagues are as brilliant, funny, and caring a bunch of co-workers as you could ever hope to meet.

You’ll usually leave work on time, and you’ll get 25 days’ holiday a year (plus bank holidays and generous Christmas closing). Oh, and private health cover, quarterly rewards, and a share of our profits over and above your salary.

We want our company to be a positive presence in the world, we’re rolling out ethical and charitable initiatives, like this one to plant trees, and others that we can tell you about at interview.

Other benefits include

  • Clear personal development structure and training opportunities
  • 25 days’ paid annual leave (or part-time equivalent), plus generous Christmas closing
  • Pension and private health cover, Cyclescheme and Techscheme
  • 3 months’ paid new parent leave (in addition to statutory allowances)
  • 3-month sabbatical option (on half pay) every 5 years
  • Team rewards throughout the year
  • Charity and environmental programmes

How to apply

If this all sounds good, please send…

  • A brilliant covering email
  • ONE example of your writing, showing the strengths we’re looking for
  • Your CV

…to jobs@radix-communications.com

If we like what we read, we’ll contact you to arrange an interview call – most likely in the week commencing Monday 6th September. (We’re genuinely sorry that we don’t have the capacity to give you individual feedback if you’re not successful.)

If you have any questions, we’ll be glad to answer them. Drop us a line at jobs@radix-communications.com.
